The Short Stop on East Madison St. was robbed at around 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday morning.Bastrop Chief of Police Allen Campbell said the clerk was robbed at gunpoint and an undetermined amount of money was taken.The suspect was a black male who wore a mask over his face and head.
