The Bastrop Police Department has led an extensive investigation into this murder and has begun to make arrests connected to the case. Shawanda Robinson was shot in the chest on December 25 at Eden Apartments, and died shortly after. BPD arrests juveniles for vehicle theft
The Bastrop Police Department arrested two juveniles on Thursday, January 3, for vehicle theft. The juveniles stole a church van, which they then wrecked in Monroe. They stole another vehicle in Monroe and ended up in Union County, Arkansas where they were apprehended. They were both charged with vehicular theft and taken to Green Oaks Detention Center.
